Mom and Dad visited for a long weekend, so we drove down to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. This was the first time I'd been there in summer, so it was nice to be able to enjoy the grassy meadows rather than having them filled with snow and to share the experience of the giant trees with Mom and Dad. This was also my first time visiting the Kings Canyon wilderness area, which included a drive through the canyon, which is deeper than the Grand Canyon and featured great waterfalls, each of a very different style.
